Virtually all the course is hands on. You are the crew – without you the sails won’t go up and the boat won’t be steered. Become an RYA Competent Crew member who is able to crew and sail on all points of sailing, handle sails, ropes & fenders, steer the yacht & keep a lookout, row a dinghy & assist on board with day-to-day duties.
